Competitive swimming ke liye United states ki governing body ne elite events mei transgender ki ability ke liye apne policy update ki hai.

Ye changes tab aaye jab collegiate swimmer Lia Thomas,jo ki ek transgender hai unhone US women’s swimming mei kai saare records break kiye.

USA swimming ne kaha ki wo transgender athletes jo male-to-female transition ke under jaa rahe hai ab unhe competition ke 36 months ke pahle se hi five nanometers per litre testosterone threshold ke niche hi rahna padega.

Iske pahle, transgender women ko women’s event mei compete karna allow kiya gaya tha agar wo harmone suppression theors karwaye hote hai toh bhi.

Uske baad se unhone US mei number of women’s national record bhi break kiya jisme 200m, 500m freestyle records bhi include hai. Ye unhone December mei huye Zippy Invitational Event jo ki Akron, Ohio mei hua tha usme banaya.
