Turtles Ke Sath Swimming Kar Rhe Likith SP, Pura Focus 59.93 Par

2020 Olympics ki postponement hone ke saath hi SP Likith,India ke top breaststroke swimmer, ko extra time mil gaya hai 100m event ke liye 59.93 second ka qualifying time achieve karne ke liye.

Likith Karnataka mei February se apne coach ke farm mein stuck hai aur ab wo ek tank mei swim karte hai jo already wildlife se inhabited hai aur jo normally water supply karta hai vegetables aur crops ke liye.

21-year-old swimmer jo ki Bangalore se hai, jinhe abhi bhi apne personal best se two seconds save karna hai tab hi wo qualify kar payenge, unhone AFP se kaha ki wo “lucky” the ki unhe 20m long tank mila jaha coach Partha Varanashi 15 swimmers ko ek saath drill karate hai.

“Isme aur pool mei sirf 1 difference hai aur wo ye hai ki yaha ka water utna clear nahi hai, isme fish aur turtles bhi hai, aur isme lanes nahi hai,” Likith ne haste huye kaha.

“Ye boring nahi hai, isme fun hai. Right now humara aim hai ki apni immunity high rakhe, isliye week mei humlog 5-6 swimming sessions hi rakhte hai aur iske alawa yoga aur kuch aur chize bhi karte hai.”- CNA
