At the 2019 CIF State Championships, as a high school freshman, Reynolds was a B-finalist in the 500 free where he went 4:29.87 to take 11th overall.
Reynolds clocked an 8:11.86, winning the event by over 10 seconds, and besting his personal mark by 6.52 seconds.
His swim undercut his previous best of 23.05, which he had swum back in 2017, and came in under the 2020 Olympic Trials cut of 23.19.
Reynolds hit the wall in 15:41.73, significantly dropping from his previous best of 15:52.22.
Linnea Mack picked up four wins, including three new best times, at the Arena Grand Challenge meet in Fresno, California.
