The USC swimming and diving teams kick off the 2017-18 seasons with non-conference meets this weekend as the women’s squad competes at the University of San Diego on Friday at 2 p.m. while the Trojan men swim at UC Santa Barbara on Friday at2 p.m. and at Cal Poly on Saturday at 11 a.m.
The Trojans have a stacked sprint free group that includes Olympic sprinters Santo Condorelli and Dylan Carter.
The USC Trojans will miss out on the championship final after being disqualified in the 200 free relay this morning.
Santo Condorelli had a win in the 50 free for USC, as the men battled to what was initially a tie with ASU on Friday. A later re-score gave the meet to Bob Bowman’s crew. The Trojan women were victorious over the Sun Devils.
Carsten Vissering won the 50 free and 100 breast in yesterday’s USC dual versus Cal Poly.
The men of USC finished off their regular season with a win against the University of Utah, improving their dual record to 9-1.
USC’s Uytengsu Aquatic Center, where the Trojans defeated Cal in a narrow one point victory.
Arizona men win 172-126 over USC; USC women defeat Arizona 156-144.
Trojan junior Michael Domagala doubled up on wins, touching first in the 100 and 200 butterfly races on his home turf today.
Kyle Grissom, “The Porterville Torpedo”, has given his verbal commitment and will join the USC Trojans for the 2015-2016 season.
