Katie Ledecky will look to lead Stanford to a second straight NCAA title in the 800 free relay.
Defending champion Mallory Comerford of Louisville could become the second woman to ever break 1:40. Though Ledecky will be absent this time around, fellow Stanford swimmer Simone Manuel will look to give Comerford a run for her money. Mallory Comerford is one of four 4:35’s coming into the 2018 NCAA Championships in the 500 free, behind Katie Ledecky’s 4:26.
For Eastin, the conqueror of all four strokes, it may be the 200 butterfly where she’ll have the fewest obstacles on her path to an NCAA title.
