UT Administration ne Sector 39 Sports Complex me existing indoor facility ko city ke doosre all-weather swimming pool me convert karne ke liye UT Engineering Department dwara submit ki gayi Rs. 1,77,80,533 ke rough estimate ko approve kar diya hai.
Iss month ak Supervisor Chief Architect, Director Sports, Joint Director Sports, Chief Engineer and swimming coach ki presence me held ak meeting ke minutes ke according, budget ko approve kar di gayi thi.
Iska use Sector 39 me all-weather swimming pool heating system ki installing, testing and commissioning ke liye kiya jayega. Rough estimate me 5 saal ka operation aur ak saal ki liability period ko deduct karne ke baad 4 saal ki comprehensive maintenance cost shaamil hogi.
Iss sambandh me 20 August 2024 ko uss time ke Secretary Sports ne ak meeting ki thi aur ye suggest kiya tha ki 25m se 50m tak ke kisi bhi local swimming pool ko local swimmers ke liye convert kiya jaaye. Urban Planning Department ko isse related ak report submit karne ke liye kaha gaya tha. 10 October (2024) and 4 November (2024) ko, ye inform kiya gaya ki pool convert nahi kiye ja sakte. Iss baar par jor diya gaya ki city me keval ak hi all-weather swimming pool hai aur ak aur pool hona jaruri hai. 2019 me uss time ke Sports Secretary ne city me ak aur all-weather swimming pool banane ko confirm kiya tha. Sector 23 me existing all-weather swimming pool ka construction 1962 me kiya gaya tha. Sector 39 Sports Complex ka pool Sector 23 ki facility se size me chhota hai. Isme keval 4 lane hone ki possibility hai aur depth 4.6 feet tak limited rakhi gayi hai. 7 November 2019 ko inn columns me iski report ki gayi thi.
November 2019 me uss time ke UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore dwara isi complex ke inauguration ke baad, officers ne announce kiya tha ki pool all-weather swimming pool me convert kar diya jayega.Rs 4 crore ki estimated cost se bana, Sector 39 Complex 1.65 acre me faila hua hai. Isme 25m ka indoor pool, ak multi-purpose hall (jo ab ak mini chess centre me change ho raha hai) ak yoga centre aur ak open basketball and volleyball court hone ka provision hai.
