Pace Clark, Beryl Gastaldello, Quah Zheng Wen Scratch Austin Day 2

2018 PRO SWIM SERIES – AUSTIN

Heat sheets show more major scratches on day 2 of the Pro Swim Series at Austin, including #2 fly seed Pace Clark.

Two of the top six 200 fly seeds are out before the race even begins, with the Georgia alum and pro Clark scratching along with Cal Golden Bear Quah Zheng Wen.

As we noted yesterday, top-seeded 100 freestyler Mallory Comerford – last year’s national champion – is out, along with #3 Beryl Gastaldello of Texas A&M. Gastaldello was also the 8-seed in the 100 back. The other top-8 seed scratching is NC State backstroker Elise Haan out of the 100.
