Daniel Diehl Swims 8th Fastest All-Time 100 LCM Back In 15-16 Age Group: 55.46

After breaking two 13-14 NAG Records in October, Diehl turned 15. At the U.S. Open on Friday he showed that he is still on a roll, posting a 55.46 100m back.

18-year-old Jack Aikins’ victory in the 100 back was a 1.62 second time drop from his previous best, 56.21, from the 2019 Georgia Senior State Championships.

Tom Shield’s U.S. Open Meet Record was set back in 2013 at 51.65. Today in Huntsville, Auburn graduate Luis Martinez broke that record by .15 seconds.
