NIKE Swim Camp at University of Colorado Boulder
The Camp Director designs the daily itinerary and the content of each session for campers who are 9 – 17 years old.
Coaches:
The coaching staff will be assigned a pool session/stroke they will lead. Coaches must have the ability to work independently within the Head Coach’s and Director’s design. Coaches provide the safety and well-being of the campers while moving between locations, on location and overnight in the dorms. Coaches reside in the assigned camp dorm for each session.
- Required Experience:
- High School swimming experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Preferred Experience:
- 1-2 years of collegiate of USA Swimming coaching experience.
- Prior work experience with Day Care, summer league coaching, or prior camp counselor experience.
A typical day includes two pool sessions, one dryland session, two classroom sessions, and games throughout the day and evening. All staff are required to eat in the campus dining hall with campers.
- Salary: Commensurate with experience and role at camp. 1099 employee.
- Included: Meals, housing, campus parking pass and apparel. Housing between sessions, if needed.
- All candidates must pass a background check, and complete US Sports Camps paperwork.
