Greensboro Swimming Association (GSA) in North Carolina is looking for a coach to assist with our Age Group and Senior Developmental Programs to work with all ages of swimmers.
GSA is a 2024-25 USA Swimming Bronze Medal Club with swimmers ranging from 5-18 years old, ranging in levels from novice swimmers to USA National Junior Team members and Olympic Trials qualifiers. GSA swims out of two sites in Greensboro area (one being the World Class Greensboro Aquatic Center) and we are seeking out coaches to help us grow and continue our nearly 80 years of providing competitive swimming excellence in the Triad area.
General Responsibilities:
Skills and Experience
- Assisting in dryland
- Assist with administrative duties related to the group and overall team operations.
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience as a coach
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills
- A desire to study and progress as a coach and a professional.
- Ability to teach, motivate, and most importantly have fun!
- Candidate should have all USA Swimming coach’s certifications, or ability to obtain quickly.
- This position is currently part-time but could potentially become full-time for the right candidate.
