Salary: $50,000–$75,000/year + Benefits (Healthcare, 401(k), PTO)
About the Role:
Katy Aquatics is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Co-Director of Age Group Competitive Swimming to oversee and guide our 10 & Under competitive swim program. This is a leadership role within the organization that focuses on developing swimmers, mentoring coaches, and building strong relationships with families and the community.
As Co-Director, you will be responsible for managing daily operations within the Age Group Division, supporting assistant coaches, and ensuring the program aligns with Katy Aquatics’ mission of Character, Community, Excellence, and Safety & Inclusion.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🔹 Coaching and mentoring swimmers aged in a structured, progressive program
🔹 Leading, training, and evaluating a team of assistant coaches
🔹 Developing seasonal plans, practice schedules, and swimmer evaluations
🔹 Communicating regularly with parents and providing education on swimmer development
🔹 Collaborating with fellow directors and staff to ensure smooth program transitions
🔹 Representing Katy Aquatics at team functions, competitions, and leadership meetings
🔹 Implementing team policies and USA Swimming best practices
