Aquatics Coordinator (Part Time)
The College of New Jersey is seeking a part time Aquatics Coordinator. This position resides in the Athletic Department, within the Division of Student Affairs and reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities & Operations.
The Aquatics Coordinator is responsible for lifeguard and student staffing including hiring, training and scheduling lifeguard staff, lifeguard staff and pool safety management, supervision of lifeguard performance and scheduling, recruiting and training student maintenance and timing system staff (Colorado Timing System and Meet Manager). The Aquatics Coordinator also assists with aquatics event management and timing system operations, membership management including membership programs and retention, and general aquatics maintenance. This is a part time position.

• Lifeguard certified | LGI/First Aid/CPR/AED
• CPO Certified
• Certified in CPR, AED and first aid.
• POM – Pool Director Training Certified
• Certifications in Preventing Disease Transmission & Oxygen Administration preferred
• This job involves physical labor.
• Must be able to stand and to be physically active for multiple hours per day.
• Must be able to assist with preparation related to facility and equipment set-up and breakdowns – lifting and moving items as needed.
• Working hours may be irregular and vary, including nights and weekends as needed.
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2-3 years aquatic management experience
• Experience with Colorado Timing System & Meet Manager software
