FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU Eagles opened senior weekend and its two-day dual meet against the North Florida Ospreys in strong fashion Friday at the FGCU Aquatics Complex, building a commanding 103-45 advantage after the opening session of competition.

- FGCU opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay, as the group of Cassie Bauer, Easton Glandt, Nori Hetyei and Leah Gentry-Tuney touched first in 3:43.38. The Eagles also placed third with their group of Nadia Helm, Ella Smith, Libby Russum and Mia Burke in 3:49.85.
- In the 50 fly, Izzy Ackley claimed the victory in 24.35, while Nastia Tichy added a third-place finish in 25.56.
- FGCU placed two swimmers on the podium in the 50 breast, as Glandt finished second in 29.20 and Gentry-Tuney followed in third with a time of 29.33.
- The Eagles went one-two in the 1650 free, with Lily Magda winning the event in 17:08.34 and Jasmin Kroll finishing second in 17:10.90.
- Ackley earned her second individual win of the day by taking first in the 50 back with a time of 24.77. Bauer placed second in 26.17 and Olivia Vecchio finished third in 26.19, giving FGCU a sweep of the top three spots.
- In the 50 free, Burke captured the win with a time of 23.43, while Sydney Ringwald added a third-place finish in 24.07.
- FGCU controlled the 400 IM, led by Aislyn Barnett’s victory in 4:18.31. Ipek Aydiner placed second with a time of 4:24.53 to give the Eagles the top two spots in the event.
- The Eagles closed the session with another win in the 400 free relay, as the group of Kroll, Helm, Russum and Gentry-Tuney finished first in 3:21.09. FGCU also placed second with its group of Bauer, Burke, Audrey Sambrook and Ringwald in 3:27.14.

The Eagles are back in the pool on Saturday, Jan. 31, for the conclusion of the dual meet against North Florida. Prior to the noon start, the Eagles will hold Senior Day festivities to honor Mia Burke, Jordan Durocher, Nadia Helm, Lily Magda and Libby Russum. Festivities are set to begin at 11:30 a.m.
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Mia Burke, Jordan Durocher, Nadia Helm, Lily Magda and Libby Russum were honored on Senior Day as Florida Gulf Coast University women’s swimming and diving closed out the regular season with a dual meet victory against North Florida on Saturday at the FGCU Aquatics Complex. The Eagles controlled the meet across both days and finished with a 254.5-154.5 team win over the Ospreys.

- In the 200 medley relay, the group of Olivia Vecchio, Easton Glandt, Izzy Ackley and Leah Gentry-Tuney took first with a time of 1:42.82, while the group of Nadia Helm, Ella Smith, Libby Russum and Mia Burke followed in second at 1:43.80.
- In the 1000 freestyle, Aislyn Barnett claimed the win with a program record time of 9:51.57.
- Emily McMahan led the Eagles in the 200 freestyle by touching first in 1:53.60, with Lily Magda adding another podium finish in third at 1:55.46.
- Olivia Vecchio paced the field in the 100 backstroke, earning the top spot with a time of 55.98.
- In the 100 breaststroke, Cassie Bauer turned in a winning swim of 1:03.29, and Leah Gentry-Tuney rounded out the top three for FGCU in 1:03.73.
- Nastia Tichy delivered a wire-to-wire performance in the 200 butterfly to secure first place in 2:02.50.
- Libby Russum secured the win in the 50 freestyle with a 23.73, while Nadia Helm shared second after finishing in 23.82.
- In the 100 freestyle, Jasmin Kroll finished first in 50.50, and Sydney Ringwald followed in third at 52.68.
- Izzy Ackley picked up another individual win for FGCU in the 200 backstroke, stopping the clock at 2:01.03.
- FGCU earned a pair of podium finishes in the 200 breaststroke, with Kata Joo placing second in 2:20.77 and Ipek Aydiner close behind in third at 2:21.33.
- Emmakate Zanoli highlighted the 500 freestyle for the Eagles by recording a second-place finish in 5:09.06.
- Nori Hetyei capped a strong butterfly session by claiming first place in the 100 fly with a time of 55.49.
- Cassie Bauer led a 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 IM, winning in 2:02.88, followed by Ipek Aydiner in second at 2:04.06 and Nori Hetyei in third at 2:05.00.
- The meet concluded with the 200 freestyle relay, where the team of Sydney Ringwald, Jasmin Kroll, Cassie Bauer and Nadia Helm secured second place in 1:35.94.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – North Florida women’s swimming had a good start in its first of two sessions in a dual meet against Florida Gulf Coast on Friday evening.
The Ospreys completed the first eight events of the meet, as senior Victoria Torres leaves day one of competition with a win in the 50 breaststroke. She placed first over 11 swimmers for the 50 breast race clocking in a time of 29.08.
There were seven total top-three finishes for UNF, including a pair of relay teams placing second in the 400 medley and third in the 400 freestyle. Kayla Daley (50 fly) and Abby Noga (50 free) were the runner-ups in their respective events, while Paige Munna (1650 free) and Aydan Horrigan (400 IM) earned third overall.

The Ospreys finish out the second and final day of regular season competition in their dual meet against FGCU on Saturday, Jan. 31, starting at 12 p.m., in Fort Myers, Fla.
FORT MYERS, Fla. – North Florida women’s swimming picked up three more event wins to close out the regular season slate against Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday afternoon.
Ellie Hixenbaugh broke out a stellar swim for UNF with a 2:19.39 time to take home the victory in the 200 breastroke. Paige Munna joined Hixenbaugh with a stellar time as well in the 500 freestyle to also reign victorious clocking 5:04.51.
The Ospreys totaled 12 top-two placements across all 12 events competed in the second session in their dual meet to close out the regular season on the road. Kayla Daley placed as the runner-up in a pair of events with the 100 fly and 200 fly.
Other second-place finishers include Grace Burton (1000 free), Munna (200 free), Katie Carlos (100 back), Ashley Kirby (100 breast), Abby Noga (50 free), Victoria Torres (100 free) and Aydan Horrigan (200 back). The meet was finished with the 200 freestyle relay, which was won by the Osprey group of Victoria Torres, Riley McCormick, Abby Noga and Brooke Bourn notching 1:35.16.
