WINSTON-SALEM, NC, November 26, 2025 – Youth athletes with Enfinity Aquatic Club and Forsyth Home Educators celebrate the 2nd Annual “Swimsgiving” Food Drive this November, doubling 2024 numbers.

The 2nd Annual “Swimsgiving” Food Drive kicked off at Sherwood Pool in Ardmore on November 17th and ran through November 22nd. “Swimsgiving” encourages swimming families to support their neighbors in need this holiday season by donating canned and non-perishable foods to the Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC in Winston-Salem.

“Connecting youth swimmers to our community is an important part of Enfinity’s values,” says Coach David Jones of Enfinity. “We all come together at EAC to help make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors, whether it be through service projects, social events, or fun activities. The bond that is built between swimmer athletes and swim families is a strong network, and we are fortunate to share that spirit with others in our area.”

Forsyth Home Educators “FHE” is a support network for homeschooling families serving Forsyth and neighboring counties. FHE also boasts a robust athletic program for homeschoolers, including a swim team that trains at Enfinity facilities, and was excited to join EAC to participate in this year’s Swimsgiving. “Our FHE swim families learn that strength isn’t just built in the pool—it’s built by giving back. These canned goods are our way of making a difference, ” says Lauren Sanger, swimmer with Enfinity and FHE.

This year, Swimsgiving brought in more than double the donations of the inaugural 2024 year, delivering over 801 canned and shelf-stable foods to the Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC. “We fully expect the momentum of Swimsgiving to continue to grow, providing vital assistance to families in the area,” said Tim Hillen, Enfinity Aquatic Club founder. “Nearly 20% of Forsyth County children experience food insecurity daily, and together we must give care and support to our neighbors until no child goes hungry.”
