Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Four more women’s recruits have announced their commitments to swim for the University of Cincinnati beginning in the fall of 2026: Macartney Mahler from Indiana, McKenzie Jenny and Nicole Amike from Georgia, and Riley Miller from Florida.
Mahler recently graduated from Homestead High School and trains year-round with Fort Wayne Swim Team in Indiana, where she primarily specializes in fly and IM. She turned in a series of top performances at the 2025 Winter Junior Championships in December, earning a second swim in the 200 fly and placing 13th in a lifetime best time of 1:59.41. She also contested the 100 fly (54.98 – PB) and the 200 IM (2:04.71 – SB).
Mahler logged a personal best time in the 200 IM (2:03.44) at the 2026 IHSAA (Illinois High School Athletic Association) Girls State Championship, finishing 7th overall. She also placed 10th in the 100 fly (55.21). Most recently, Mahler competed at the Indiana Swimming Senior Championships in March, where she posted lifetime best times in four events: the 100 free (52.72), 200 back (2:02.88), 50 fly (25.33) and 200 fly (1:59.14).
SwimAtlanta teammates Jenny and Amike will both head to Cincinnati in the fall. The pair train together in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where Jenny specializes in free, fly and IM and Amike excels at sprint free. At the 2026 GHSA (Georgia High School Association) 6A State Championship in February, Amike took 3rd in the 50 free (23.58 – SB) and 5th in the 100 free (52.35). She also helped her team to a state title in the 200 free relay, leading off in 24.15.
Meanwhile, the 2026 state championship saw Jenny secure the meet title in the 200 free (1:51.23 – SB) and snag the runner-up spot in the 500 free (4:59.61). A few weeks later, she logged a series of personal best performances at the Best of the South meet in March. She won the 1000 free (10:07.74 – PB) and placed 2nd in the 500 free (4:53.20 – PB), 6th in the 200 free (1:51.24) and 7th in the 200 fly (2:04.49 – PB). She also clocked lifetime bests in the 200 IM (2:09.68) and 400 IM (4:32.97).
Rounding out the group of commitments is Miller, who currently swims for the Bolles School Sharks, primarily specializing in free, back and fly, in addition to representing the Virgin Islands Swimming Federation. She turned in a series of top swims at the 2026 Florida Swimming Senior Championships in March, posting a lifetime best in four events. She won the 100 back (56.37 – PB) and 100 fly (55.14 – PB) and placed 4th in the 50 free (23.17) and 5th in the 100 free (50.80). She also finished 8th in the 200 free (1:53.44) after setting a best time of 1:52.20 during prelims.
At the 2026 CARIFTA Aquatic Championships (LCM), Miller posted another string of fast performances. She prevailed in the 100 back (1:04.85 – PB) and 50 fly (27.81 – PB) and took 2nd in the 100 free (58.10 – PB), 50 back (30.51) and 100 fly (1:03.29 – PB) and 3rd in the 50 free (26.62 – PB) and 200 back (2:26.81 – PB).
A Division I program in the Big 12 Conference, Cincinnati placed 4th at this past season’s conference championships. The team sent two athletes, Joleigh Crye and Lindi Worrell, to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Championship, where they scored 11 points and finished 32nd overall.
With 11 athletes graduating from Cincinnati’s women’s team this past spring, the four recruits will help fill the gaps left in their absence and bring added depth to the team.
Mahler, Jenny, Killer and Amike will join Sadie Minich, Alexis Schmidt, Nina Heron, Lily Swope and Olivia Wenert in Cincinnati’s class of 2030, who should all make for strong training partners over the next four years.
