Lindsay Vrooman went back-to-back to open the meet, winning the 1000 free and 200 free to set the tone for Indiana’s wins. Eric Ress won three on the men’s side to overcome Louisville’s sprint dominance.

Brooklynn Snodgrass won her 8th Big Ten Weekly Honor in just two years of collegiate swimming. Hoosier freshman Gia Dalesandro was also honored, as was Minnesota’s Sarah McCrady.

“We hadn’t been home for a while, and they came together and swam tough right from the beginning,” said head swim coach Sean Schimmel. “They stayed sharp all the way through it. Tera Bradham Named Wooden Citizenship Cup Semifinalist

Tera Bradham, a member of the University of Arkansas swimming and diving program, was named a semifinalist for the Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup. The award honors collegiate and professional athletes who best display character, teamwork and citizenship. Bradham was among 31 semifinalists to be honored.

Indiana Women Play Host to Purdue for Senior Day Saturday

The Indiana women’s swimming and diving team will play host to Purdue Saturday, Jan. 25 in a dual meet at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center in Bloomington. The meet will get underway at 11 a.m. ET.
