Representatives from the five major NCAA conferences voted this week to require schools to make mental health services and resources available for student-athletes, and also to move forward with reforms on rules about student-athletes relationships with agents.

Power 5 Conferences Will Meet, Vote On Proposals This Week

Representatives from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC will meet this week to discuss 11 proposals ranging from mental health services for athletes to rules on sports agents for college athletes. The meeting is part of the autonomy process for the so-called “power 5” conferences, now in its fifth year.

Record-Setting 713 Teams Earn Fall, 2018 Scholar All-America Honors

Liberty University, which over the weekend won its 21st-straight dual meet, led all eligible collegiate women’s teams this fall with a 3.78 GPA. The MIT men also recorded a 3.78 GPA.

Iowa State Wins 15 of 16 as They Down Illinois State

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Cyclones (6-3, 1-0 Big 12) soundly defeated the Illinois State Redbirds (5-3, 1-1 MVC) 191-100 on Friday night. The Cyclones won 15-of-16 events in the win, the most events wins in a meet since 2016.
