BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo swimming and diving program hosted Canisius University and Niagara University for the UB Invite on Friday and Saturday in the Alumni Arena Natatorium. Although the competition was not scored, the three-session meet featured 12 event wins for the Bulls.
“We were able to use this meet to have the girls swim events that they normally would not swim,” said Head Coach Andy Bashor. “To see that and give them some excitement about trying different things is fun. We have our mid-season meet after Thanksgiving where the girls will compete in their best events, so this was a good time and place to get out and get some really good racing in. The training they did in the past two weeks really came through.”
