Max Hague
Max started swimming in the 9th grade for Canton Glenoak High school. Max quickly became comfortable in the water and was a two time OHSAA Division 1 district qualifier. Max committed to Westminster in 2012.
College
2012-2013
Max saw vast improvements in his freshman year of college. Throughout the season Max posted best times in all three of his individual events. At the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) championship meet he posted best times in both the 50 free and the 100 backstroke events taking 14th and 16th place respectively. He fell just short of his personal best in the 100 free which he swam earlier in the season. Max’s scoring effort helped the titans win their first conference title in five years.
2013-2014
Max continued to see drops across the board in his sophomore year with the titans. At the PAC championship meet he posted best times in all of his individual events taking 9th place in both the 50 and 100 free and 13th in the 100 back. Max was also a member of the first place 400 freestyle and 200 medely relays which earned him All-Conference first team honors.
2014-2015
In his junior year max saw varied success. At the PAC championship meet he posted a best time in the 50 free taking seventh in his first individual top 8 appearance. He also had top 16 performances in the 100 free and backstroke events taking 16th in both. His scoring efforts in all three of these events helped earn him an All-Conference honorable mention as well as a second team championship in three years.
Personal
Max is a media art major at Westminster college and plans to pursue a career in film when he graduates.
