Marissa Bergh
Marissa was a four-year swimmer for Dougherty Valley High School, serving as the team captain during her senior year. She was named an all-American in 2012 and 2013, and was a three-time team MVP. She also earned her school’s Athlete of the Year in 2011. She was a Principal’s Honor Student her senior year of high school and a Scholastic All-American from 2010-13.

Marissa again started her season out with the Miami Invite, where she placed 6th in the 50 free and 7th in the 100 free. At UAAs, Marissa improved in the 50 free, where a 23.60 earned her 2nd place. She also won the 100 free at the meet. At NCAAs, Marissa placed 6th in the 100 free(50.83) and 10th in the 50 free(23.54).
2013-2014
At the Miami Invite, Marissa dropped time in all the events she swam. She placed 9th in the 50 free and 8th in the 200 free. At UAAs, she swam the 100 free and placed 2nd with a time of 51.57. At NCAAs Marissa placed 8th in the 200 free(1:50.85) and 20th in the 100 free(51.87).
