Dana Getschow
Dana comes to Mayflower Hill from Hopkins School. She is one of the squad’s two divers and currently specializes in the 1-meter event. She is studying economics and mathematics for a decidedly number-based schedule.
Colby College Swimming and Diving
2012-2013
Dana dove the first half the season, but saw her year cut short by an injury.
2013-2014
Dana returned to the competition in time for the final meet of the season against Bates College. In her triumphant re-debut, she posted a lifetime best 6 dive 1-meter score 166.6. At NESCAC championships, Dana took 12th place on the 1-meter board.
Personal
Dana is the very proud owner of two bull mastiffs named Cody and Buttercup. She is also a proud vegetarian, abstaining from eating all things animal.
