Nate beating Hubert and Will in the 100 IM. Let’s figure out that 200 IM, again. Please!
Kos is not at 100% right now, imo. He’ll be fast in March.
You think he’s been sick too?
Louisville is coached by the best Head Coach in the business.
Top 10 for sure but best might be stretching it
He is definitely in the conversation for best Head Coach with both men’s and women’s teams. I would put Bowman, Durden, Kredich, and Holloway, up there for a top 5. Honestly, I could see a case for any of those 5 being picked as the top.
You can’t say that AND be a Tennessee fan
Guess tOSU couldn’t stick around for the final session
Their flight was cancelled so had to take an earlier flight.
Congrats to Louisville but I doubt that Texas swimmers were tapered at all.
Well they usually swim faster without taper anyways
lol this is so true
I also doubt the Louisville team was either.
Considering Texas women are October Queens, I don’t think taper really matters at all to them.
Texas is a great team but they really need to fix the taper issue. They could be so much better at NCAAs if they did
Nobody is ever tapered, rested, nor shaved. Just ask them.
Cry me a river!
Congrats to Louisville! Happy to hear they were able to compete in the meet on Saturday since Ohio State had to fly out early due to the storm. Great meet by all!
That’s crazyyyy love that
Texas women were wildly overrated. Good for Louisville, the addition of Gorbenko is making them very dangerous.
Agree. There’s no way they should be above Stanford right now.
The Stanford University women’s swimming program swept the relays last year in Austin, TX.
The University of Texas women’s swimming program lost on home soil to the University of Louisville women’s swimming program, as well.
On the women’s side, the SEC has been vastly overrated during the 2025-2026 NCAA Season.
All that money just to be worse than the lowly ACC.
SEC power will shine at the SEC Championships where TX and TN ladies will fight down to the end of the ORANGE Battle. On the Men’s side TEXAS says it all.
NCAAs is not relevant for the SEC woman, but again TEXAS men will dominate.
….. only to crater at the 2026 NCAA DI Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.
Talk about delusions of grandeur.
Who cares. With B finals- conference meets will be so much more fun (for swimmers and spectators) than ncaa
I feel like the SEC will be better in 2027-2028 though. Tennessee and Texas have insane incoming freshman classes
Title is deceiving. Not sure I would call it an upset.
A lower ranked team beat a higher ranked team, that’s literally the definition of an upset. What is your definition of an upset then?
Anybody paying attention to the actual meets this fall would know Louisville is a better team than Texas. And that was before Gorbenko. That high ranking was in name only.
Texas getting the benefit of their name just like in football?
The NCAA FBS (DI) Championships Game was Indiana versus Miami (FL). Just to let the Longhorns fans know.
Denial is not a river in Africa.
