Anna Elendt Hits German Record of 1:03.83 In 100 Breaststroke

2025 SWIMMING WORLD CUP – CARMEL

Day two finals of the 2025 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Carmel, Indiana, brought the main event of the women’s 100m breaststroke.

When the dust settled, American Kate Douglass got to the wall first, firing off a mighty result of 1:02.90 as Estonia’s Eneli Jefimova snagged silver in 1:03.35.

Germany’s Anna Elendt rounded out the podium tonight in 1:03.83, good enough for bronze.

As for former University of Texas star Elendt, the 24-year-old German split 13.96/16.40/16.58/16.89 to reap the bronze, establishing a new German national record in the process.

The former German benchmark stood at the 1:04.05 Elendt put on the books en route to bagging bronze at the 2022 Short Course World Championships.
