Chinook Aquatic Club is seeking a passionate and reliable Assistant Swim Coach to join our team at the Renton location, working with our age group swimmers in the Bronze, Silver, and Gold groups. This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist site lead coach in coaching daily practices (~2 hours M-F)
- Provide a fun and safe environment for swimmer development
- Help with practice planning, instruction, and swimmer progression
- Attend swim meets and assist swimmers during competition
- Foster a positive team culture
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with young swimmers in a coaching or instructional setting
- Background in competitive swimming is a bonus
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team first attitude
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekday practice (approx. 2 hours M-F)
- Weekend availability for swim meets
- Pay is based on experience
