Editor’s note: the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)’s rankings track dual meet strength, specifically. That is, a higher-ranked team is expected to win in a head-to-head dual meet with a lower-ranked team, according to the voters. These rankings aren’t an NCAA finish prediction – for a ranking closer to that model, check out SwimSwam’s Power Rankings.
The Texas men have overtaken Cal for the #1 spot in the latest CSCAA dual meet poll, while Florida continues to lead a hard-charging Tennessee team on the women’s side.

If the divers show up Texas can make it close.
I predict a top 3 finish at Big 12s
It seems strange that Alabama is not ranked. Is that solely due to them not competing very much this season so far? They only lost to UGA by about 10 points, and UGA is 12th.
Who cares about alabalama?? TN girlie gals are 2nd and the boyband Vols are 8th! Roll Vols Roll!!!!
I would be interested to hear the voters’ conversation about how they have agreed to evaluate and rank teams that are wearing tech suits (ie. Mizzou, Duke).
Hey there – now that we’re voting, I can actually provide insights here. Voters are instructed to squint and overlook things like “who is suited and who is not suited,” any implications of shaving, resting, or tapering, etc.
It is ridiculous that Stanford is no. 6. They haven’t lost a dual meet in ages. I am sure they can beat the 5 teams ahead of them in a dual meet. This ranking is a joke to me.
