Gainesville, Florida, native Leah Reisker has committed to swim for Duquesne beginning in the fall of 2020.
Reisker was a finalist in the 200 free at the Class 4A Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state meet in November, finishing fifth (1:51.25), and placed ninth in the 100 free (51.70). She also was a member of F.C. Buchholz High School’s gold medal winning 200 free relay team.
In November 2017, Reisker was 10th in the 200 free (1:53.88) and 18th in the 100 back (59.03) at the FHSAA state meet.
In 2016, Reisker was eighth in the 100 back (58.15) and 10th in the 200 free (1:52.74) at the FHSAA state meet.
Reisker, who also swims for the Gator Swim Club, has qualified for the 2019 Futures meet in the 50 free (23.96), 100 free (51.50), 100 back (56.76), 200 back (2:03.31) and 100 fly (57.36).

Reisker’s top time in the 50 free would have ranked third on the 2018-19 Duquesne team behind senior Kristen McKnight (23.51) and Emily Thirion (23.71). Her 100 free time would have ranked third behind freshman Hanna Everhart (50.65) and junior Carson Gross (50.93), while her best 200 free time would have ranked fourth.
