Free/Back Specialist Erica King Commits to George Mason

Pennsylvania based Erica King will be making the move to Virginia next season, as she’s given her commitment to swim for the George Mason women in the NCAA. King will be headded to George Mason after graduating from Riverside High School aat the end of this school year. She’ll be joining a Patriots recruiting class that includes breast/IMer Lexi Osleger.

King, whose club training base is with Pine Richland Aquatics, will primarily contribute in the freestyle events. She’s shown off her range in the free races, swimming anything from the 50 free to the mile at big meets. In addition to her free talent, she could also have an impact in the backstroke races. At last season’s Pennsylvania AA State Championships, she swam the backstroke leg to help her team finish 8th in the 200 medley relay. She also finished 23rd in the individual 100 back at that meet.
