Duke swimmer Peter Kropp, Louisville Swimmer Kelsi Worrell, Pitt diver Dom Giordano and NC State diver Rachel Mumma were named this week’s Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week.

Kropp took his second ACC Male Swimmer of the Week honor after sweeping the men’s breast stroke events for the second straight meet. Kropp posted an NCAA B-cut time of 53.64 in the 100 breast and bested the field in the 200 breast by over three seconds. Giordano earned ACC Male Diver of the Week honors for the second consecutive week and third overall after sweeping the diving events in Pitt’s dual meet win over Bucknell. The junior set new facility records in both the 1 meter and 3 meter events, while also breaking his own school record in the 3 meter with a score of 462.23. His score of 408.00 in the 1 meter was 0.40 shy of Pitt’s records and a new personal best.
