The Drury University Panthers, defending NCAA DII national champions, have picked up a verbal commitment from Ashley Sturman of Kansas City Swim Academy.
Sturman will add depth in the butterfly and backstroke events, and brings solid freestyle times with her as well.
Her best 100 fly time, 57.42, would have been third at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Meet last season, while her best 100 back, 1:01.47, would have been 16th in finals.
She is also a very good 500 freestyler, having gone as fast as 5:01.46, which would have been fourth at last years conference meet.
