2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation ‘A’ finalist Jack Boysen has announced he will transfer to Texas A&M for this fall. Boysen just finished his freshman season at Wyoming.
Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, Boysen followed in his parents footsteps when he committed to Wyoming back in fall 2024. He will now return closer to home as Sugar Land is an hour and a half drive from College Station.
Boysen finished his freshman season strong at Wyoming as he scored 42 individual points at the 2026 MPSF Championships. He swam to a lifetime best 19.40 in the 50 free for 3rd as well as a lifetime best 47.23 in the 100 fly for 6th. He was 6th in the 100 free with a 43.98 and swam a season best 43.73 leading the team’s 400 free relay off to help them win the conference title.

The Texas A&M men finished 9th out of 11 teams at the 2026 SEC Championships and went on to finish 30th at the 2026 NCAA Championships. Logan Brown led the team on the swimming side with four points at NCAAs with a 1:51.88 200 breast for 13th. Diver Emelio Trevino won the NCAA title in the platform event, although head diving coach Jay Lerew has since retired.
Based on his best times, Boysen arrives and could be an immediate impact to sprint relays. His best time in the 50 free would have been 3rd on the team this past season while his 100 free would have been 4th. His best time in the 50 free would have made the SEC ‘C’ final and would have only been 0.01 off making the ‘B’ final.
Boysen will arrive this fall and join a large group of transfers in for the men’s program. Among those transfers are Daniel Eichel (Minnesota), Mason Leach (Pitt), Carter Lancaster (Cal), Mason Francis (Ohio State), and Alexander Tullberg Poulsen (University of the Cumberlands).
