What happened to Austin Surhoff in recent years. Just seems like he fell off the face of the Earth. Good swim tho

Exciting to see Natalie back in back. For as much as the youth shined this meet, the veterans did as well. Her time would have placed her 2nd at Nationals and depending on if she could have gotten faster than Baker went at Pan Pacs, she might have qualified for Kazan as well.

Romano looked good this meet, too. Her 200 free surprised me as I don’t think she’s been under 2 minutes (let alone 1:59) in a while, including at championship meets. As Bobo and others have mentioned the LC 200 is a different beast than its SC counterpart and she is more of a sprinter, but this was a promising swim!
