Team MySwimPro Succeeds At Michigan Masters Championships

Team MySwimPro won 17 individual and three relay state titles at the 2016 Michigan Masters State Championships at Eastern Michigan University April 15-17, 2016. 21 swimmers ages 18 to 67 competed in the three-day competition that featured 351 U.S. Masters swimmers from across the state.

Michigan has one of the highest membership participation rates in the country for its annual Masters State Championships. Every swimmer on the team scored points with nine swimmers contributing to individual state titles or swam on winning relays!

Across all age groups, Jacob Montague and Savannah Mortensen scored the most individual points on the team with 63 and 42 points respectively. Team MySwimPro scored a total of 554.5 points for a 9th place finish in the team championship standings.

Nearly 90% of MySwimPro’s team members competed in U.S. Masters Swimming for the first time. MySwimPro Co-Founders Fares Ksebati and Adam Oxner lead the charge competing in individual events and on relays. In total, swimmers set 82 best times across the three-day championships.
