The hot streak continues for Australia’s Minna Atherton at the 2015 Junior World Championships. The 15-year-old broke yet another junior world record, going 27.92 out of semifinals in the 50 back.
Minna Atherton, top seed in the women’s 50m backstroke, will be going for the all-distance sweep in the event, having already won gold in the 100 and 200 backstrokes.
Atherton clocked a 28.00 to claim the Junior World Record and the Championship Record. She now owns the world junior mark in both the 50 and 100 back.
