Weinstein posted a 4:46.23, coming two seconds shy of her best time. This is the 13-year-old’s eighth time breaking 4:50 in this event.
Weinstein, who snagged Olympic Trials Wave I cuts in January to become the meet’s youngest qualifier, kicked off her weekend with a new best of 16:29.20.
In the 500 free, Weinstein jumps from #25 to #18 in the 13-14 all-time rankings with her 4:44.10 best time tonight.
Badger’s Matthew Fenlon picked up three wins in the boy’s 100 fly, 200 fly and 200 IM.
