Stanford, UCLA and Pacific were the top three in the men’s water polo poll for the fourth straight week, while San Jose State jumped six spots to #13.
Six upsets highlighted the Week 7 slate, including a Top 10 result that saw #6 Pepperdine edge past #4 USC and two surprise results for RV Brown.
Week 4 of collegiate men’s water polo saw 12 upsets and two overtime affairs. #1 UC Santa Barbara lost twice, while #3 Stanford won the So Cal Invite title.
#2 UC Santa Barbara knocked off newly-minted #1 USC and registered an overtime win over #6 Pepperdine on Week 3 of collegiate men’s water polo play.
