100 25.42 25.43 24.69

He was almost half a second faster today on the first 50 compared to a week ago and was only 0.09 seconds off his World Record pace at the 50 mark. He fell off his World Record pace at the 100 mark but stayed under his splits for the rest of the race compared to a week ago. Hobson will have the chance next week in Toronto for the triple crown, which earns him a $10,000 bonus.

Hobson’s time tonight marks the #13 performance of all-time. He holds the top two swims in history as in addition to his World Record, he also swam a 1:38.91 for the former World Record last December at the 2024 SCM World Championships.
