Linfield College Inks 12 For 2017-18 Season

Linfield College continues its sturdy climb to the top of the Northwest Conference by adding 12 swimmers to its 2021 class. Led by head coach Kyle Kimball, in three years the Wildcats have climbed from 8th (last) on the boys and 7th on the girls to 4th on both sides as of last winter.

The Linfield College Swimming staff is beyond excited about the freshman class that will be joining the team this fall:

Anne Walkup – Willamalane Swim Club-OR: Butterfly, IM, and Distance Free
Lottie Rae Steward – Emerald Aquatics-OR: Freestyle, Butterfly
Emily Samudio – Superior Stingray Swimming-OR: Butterfly/Sprint Freestyle
Zoe Qualls – Rogue Sharks-OR: Breaststroke
Caroline Hall – Saint Mary’s Academy-OR: Freestyle, Backstroke

Zach Sherlock – Mouth Hood Aquatics-OR: Breastroke/IM
Hugh Hammons – Portland Aquatic-OR: Butterfly, Distance Freestyle
Joseph Simpson- Spare Time Aquatics Sacramento-CA: Freestyle, Butterfly
Daisuke Fitial – Mid-Valley Aquatics-OR: Backstroke/Butterfly
Tristin Butler – Port Angeles Swim Club-WA: Freestyle/IM
Jordan Leis – Lake Oswego Swim Club-OR: Sprint Freestyle
Daniel Braxmeyer – Former Portland Aquatic Club / Roosevelt High School-OR: Freestyle
