2025 Kentucky Intrasquad

The Blue team defeated the White team at the University of Kentucky 269-239 as the team opened its season with an intrasquad on Friday. They did not suit up.

Men’s Highlights

Levi Sandidge had a busy day, swimming to four wins. He opened the day posting a 9:13.72 in the 1000 freestyle. Sandidge was an NCAA All-American this past season in the 1650 free with a 14:31.08 for 8th. Sandidge has a best time of a 8:45.98 in the 1000 free that he swam during the opening 1000 free of his 1650 free at the 2025 SEC Championships. Sandidge also swam to wins in the 100 IM with a 51.58, 500 free with a 4:30.33, and the 400 IM with a 3:56.45.

Falemana Tuufui of France made waves in his debut, earning two individual wins. He posted a 20.15 in the 50 free as well as a 45.59 in the 100 free. He was a member of the blue team’s mixed 200 medley relay that also consisted of Kelsey Stuck, Cayden Pitzer, and Billie Sherratt that touched in a 1:37.24. Tuufui anchored that relay in a 19.73. The team scored 0 points in the 50 and 100 freestyles at the 2025 SEC Championships so Tuufui’s arrival is huge.

Sweeping the breaststroke events was Adomas Gatulis as he won the 100 breast in a 55.87 and the 200 in a 2:06.68. Gatulis arrived from Lithuania as a freshman last season and finished 18th in the 100 (52.32) and 18th in the 200 (1:54.25) at SECs, both marking best times.
