SwimSwam is hiring a new SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER!
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Generating and executing on ideas for social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Graphic design and light video editing (think: clips)
- Curating user generated content
- Monitoring social channels for possible news tips
- Posting news stories to social media channels
Required skills:
- A familiarity with the sport of swimming and some interest in the elite levels of sport as a “fan”
- Willingness to be on camera
- Graphic design skills
- Basic video editing skills (think: making clips)
- Desire and passion for social media – including following trends, learning about new features, and monitoring analytics
- The ability to self-manage and ask for help when needed
