“Best of the Rest” Breaststroker Brooke Corrigan to Swim for Wisconsin in 2025-26

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Brooke Corrigan, a 4-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American from Loves Park, Illinois, is headed to Madison to swim and study at the University of Wisconsin in the class of 2029. She sent her verbal pledge in November 2023 and signed an NLI a year later, writing:

“I am beyond excited and grateful to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison! I would like to thank my family and friends for being my biggest supporters. Thank you to my coaches and teammates throughout the years, and all you have done to make me the swimmer I am today. Huge thank you to all the Wisconsin coaching staff for this amazing opportunity. I can’t wait to be part of such an amazing team! GO BADGERS!!🦡❤️🤍”

We recognized Corrigan as one of the “Best of the Rest” recruits in the high school class of 2025 on our latest re-rank, also noting her sprint free and IM times.

Corrigan recently graduated from Rockford Christian High School. She wrapped up her prep career at the 2024 IHSA Girls State Championship with a runner-up finish in the 100 breast (1:01.12) and a 4th in the 100 free (49.92). She picked up new PBs in both events (1:00.94 breast in prelims, 49.92 free).

Representing her club team, Academy Bullets Swim Club, she competed at Winter Juniors West a month later and promptly dropped another 6/10 in prelims of the 100 breast to notch a new PB of 1:00.35. She finished 6th in the final with 1:00.58. She was also an ‘A’ finalist in the 200 breast, placing 8th with 2:12.26 after hitting a PB of 2:11.62 in prelims. Corrigan added a 3rd PB when she time trialed the 200 IM and swam 2:01.66. Her best 50 free time (23.08) dates from her sophomore year of high school.

At the 2025 NCSA Spring Championships, she scored points for ACAD with finishes of 3rd in the 50 breast (28.31), 3rd in the 100 breast (1:00.43), 4th in the 200 breast (2:12.13), 5th in the 200 free relay (23.41), 6th in the 400 free relay (50.57), 14th in the 100 free (50.80), 14th in the 200 IM (2:04.13), and 26th in the 50 free (23.81).

So far this summer, Corrigan has improved her lifetime bests in the LCM 50 breast (32.51), 100 breast (1:10.22), 200 breast (2:33.09), and 100 fly (1:07.11).

Best SCY times:

  • 50 breast – 28.07
  • 100 breast – 1:00.35
  • 200 breast – 2:11.62
  • 200 IM – 2:01.66
  • 50 free – 23.08
  • 100 free – 49.92

Corrigan will suit up for the Badgers in the fall with Andrea Dworak, Arianna Zelen, Justine Delmas, Lucie Delmas, and Sarah Larsen. Her best times would have scored in the ‘B’ finals of the 100/200 breast at the 2025 B1G Championships.

She keeps dropping time. Great pickup for the cheese heads.

Yes, it’s true. It’s going to be a very good team, given the recruits.
