McKenzie Siroky of Tennessee won the 100 breaststroke in a 57.78 as Tennessee opened their season with a dual meet at Texas. That was just off her lifetime best 57.27 that she swam to win the event at the 2025 SEC Championships. Siroky is a favorite to win the women’s 100 breaststroke NCAA title as she is the top returner from this past season and was picked by four out of five SwimSwam writers as the pre-season favorite.
The sophomore represented the US this summer at the 2025 World Championships after winning a swim-off in the 50 breaststroke to earn the 2nd spot in the event during US Summer Nationals. It marked the first summer she has ever trained throughout.

what are the thoughts on NC State’s Estonian Freshman (Eneli Jefimova) vs Siroky
Tennessee trained swimmers are meaner, tougher, smarter, quicker and hold an immense psychological edge over other teams – Does that answer sufficiently? I say Jefimova should plan on celebrating the silver at NCAAs.
And Anita Bottazo
Jefimova wins
With the retirement of Lilly King, USA Swimming needs a replacement in the W 50 BR.
Huge potential, excited to see what she does leading up to LA
