Abigail Burke Swims 3rd-Fastest Time This Season in 13-14 100 Fly on Night 3 of Ocala Futures

2025 USA Swimming Futures Series – Ocala

Abigail Burke of T2 Aquatics turned in a top swim in the 100 fly on night 3 in Ocala, Florida, posting a 1:01.57 to mark the 3rd-fastest time in the girls’ 13-14 age group so far this season. The 14-year-old’s performance knocked .57 off of her previous best time (1:02.14), which she set just last month at the Shark Open.

In addition to being one of the fastest times in the country this season for her age group, Burke’s performance also cracked the all-time age group top 100 times list for the first time. She now sits at #68 on the all-time national ranking for the 13-14 girls’ 100 fly.

Burke placed 4th overall during the finals in Ocala, where she was the youngest competitor in the top 8 by two years. Winning the event was Jordan Agliano of Highlander Aquatic Club, who turned in a season-best time of 1:00.58. Agliano, who was the 8th-fastest performer in the 200 fly across all five Futures meets on day 1, added .64 to her best time (59.94) that she set at this meet in 2023.

LAKR Swim Club’s Carolina Daher picked up her first victory of the meet, winning the 400 free in 4:18.75 and missing her lifetime best by .69. Daher, who is from Brazil and is committed to swim for Harvard University beginning in the fall, has seen tremendous improvement in the 400 free since last summer, dropping almost 5.5 seconds and going from a 4:23.51 to a 4:18.06 in one year.

Unattached Logan Robinson blasted to his second victory of the meet in the 100 fly, throwing down a time of 52.12 to win by over a second and become the only swimmer in the pool under 53. Robinson came into the meet with a lifetime best of 53.68, before lowering it first during prelims with a 52.79 and again during finals. His performance in Ocala ranks him 16th in the country in the men’s 100 fly this season.

After posting the 3rd-fastest time across all five meets in the 200 free, SwimAtlanta’s Connor Christopherson turned in a tremendous performance in the 400 free. The 16-year-old claimed the runner-up spot in 3:55.83, dropping over 5 seconds from his previous lifetime best and breaking the 4:00 barrier for the first time. Christopherson’s swim marks the 5th-fastest time in the boys’ 15-16 400 free this season and lands him at #51 on the all-time top 100 list for his age group.

Securing the championship title in the 400 free, over two seconds ahead of Christopherson, was Jacob Hamlin of Highlander Aquatic Club. Hamlin raced into the wall in 3:53.53, dropping almost 3 seconds to climb the season’s national rankings.
