| 42.87 | 42.88 |
Hill was out slower than Cory’s record but brought it home with a 22.26 to sneak under the old record by 0.01.
Hill will have a chance to lower the record tonight in the final as he is the top seed. Cory is also in the final after swimming the 7th fastest time of the morning with a 43.76. The Denison men have not won the title in the 100 free in 26 years when Aaron Cole won in a 44.21.
This is Hill’s 2nd record of the week after he also swam to a 1:33.94 in the 200 freestyle on Thursday night. The Denison men currently have a 30.5 point lead ahead of NYU heading into the final night of competition.

5 of the 10 fastest swimmers in DIII history are in that final tonight. Whoever wins it is going set a new DIII record. tbh wouldn’t be shocked if Costello leads off Chicago’s relay if he takes a shot at the record.
