2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships

After winning her first NCAA title in the 500 Free last night, Claire Weinstein sat down with the media to have a full debrief of her freshman season at Cal. Among the topics she discussed was how training in Berkeley compares to her club team (Sandpipers of Nevada), the impact of the Cal coaching staff, and the running joke that she was swimming with ankle weights at the Minnesota invite (which she does actually do sometimes).
