Swimming his first LCM 400 IM at the Westmon Pro Swim since his age group days, Shaine Casas dropped a total of 76 seconds between prelims and finals. Ending with a time of 4:16, Casas was pleased with his outing and seems open to swimming it more in the future.

What do we think he could get down to if he focused on it?

4:04 by LA if he focused on it and let the sprints go. Think his ceiling is higher than Carson but we probably won’t see it.

What a beast! Hope he sticks to 200 IM/100 fly but awesome he can do so well in such a hard race

Yeah, keep the individual events to a minimum and I’d like to see him work his way onto all 3 US relays.
