Aside from dominating both medley events (4:09 400 IM and 1:57 200 IM), Carson Foster also swam the 200 breast (2:11) and 200 free (1:46), where he got 4th in both. Although he said he enjoyed competing in the 200 Breast, he admitted he would most likely not be swimming it again this season. As Pan Pacs gets closer, Foster said he was looking forward to really focusing on the medley events as his individual emphasis.

Foster is on the Pan Pacs roster for the 200 Fly. Is he not swimming it? Does the roster get updated? Or is it just that he doesn’t swim it, and no one else can be added, due to roster limitations? I think the latter is correct?

just feel like he should give a place more than a year and I’m not sure what the deal is with using up all his eligibility. Your spot on international teams is in jeopardy with 2 years until LA and we’re worried about NCAA swimming over here
