Arizona State had two men move up in the NCAA rankings this season at the GCU Last Chance meet as Tolu Young swam to a 18.72 in the 50 free and Quin Seider swam to a 41.69 in the 100 free.

Young entered the day with a season best of a 18.89, a time that was tied for 24th in the NCAA so far this season. With his 18.72, he now moves up to #11 in the NCAA this season and will look to make his first NCAAs. He entered this season with a lifetime best 19.09.

Young’s swim now moves him up to #3 on Arizona State’s roster this season and he could earn the nod on the team’s 200 free relay at NCAAs later this month. Arizona State’s 200 free relay of Remi Fabiani, Jonny Kulow, Adam Chaney, and Ilya Kharun notably swam a 1:12.98 for the #3 performance all-time at last month’s Big 12 Championships.

Seider entered the day with a season best 41.91, a time that sat at 37th in the NCAA this season. His 41.69 now moves up to #20, which should make the cutline. Seider remains 4th on the roster for ASU and, like Young, could be used on the team’s relays at NCAAs. Seider was not used on the team’s 400 free relay at Big 12s that notably set an NCAA record. Seider was a relay-only swimmer last year for the Sun Devils at 2025 NCAAs.
