Spink now sits at the top of the NCAA this season as her time of a 21.01 in prelims had sat her tied with Huske who swam a 21.01 at midseason. Huske did not swim the 50 free at ACCs this week but split a 20.63 for Stanford’s 200 free relay.
Spink’s win put Tennessee back in 2nd place, behind Texas and ahead of Florida. Florida had sat ahead of Tennessee before the start of the 50 free.
