Hanna Rosvall and Victor Johansson Each Win Three Events At the 2025 Swedish SC Championships

2025 Swedish SC Championships

The 2025 Swedish Short Course Championships went off last weekend in Eskilstuna, starting just three days after the conclusion of the 2025 European SC Championships, and a many of the top swimmers made appearances at both.

The meet was led by a few three event winners starting with Hanna Rosvall on the women’s side. After taking 6th in the 100 back (57.06) and 200 back (2:05.74) at the European Sc Championships a few days prior, Rosvall swept the backstroke events in Eskilstuna.

She started with a win in the 200 back, swimming 2:06.62 to lock up the top time over Miranda Arvidsson‘s 2:09.72. She won the 100 back the following day, touching in 57.44 to e the only swimmer under 1:00 in the event. On the final day of competition, she won the 50 backstroke in 26.79.

Victor Johansson was also coming off the European Championships, where he finished 5th in the 400 free and 800 free and 6th in the 1500 free events. At the Swedish Championships, he won the same three events in dominant fashion. In the 400, he swam 3:39.58 to win by almost 10 seconds ahead of Ludvig Bartolek‘s 3:48.06. In the 800 free, he swam 7:36.72 and in the 1500, he touched in 14:32.33.

The final three event winner was female distance swimmer Thilda Hall. She started the meet with the top time in the 800 free in 8:28.03 as the only swimmer under 9:00 in the event. The next day, she won the 400 free with her 4:06.73, which was just off her lifetime best of 4:06.27. Finally, she won the 1500 in 16:13.00, the only swimmer under 17:00.
