Gretchen Walsh After World Cup: “There’s a lot of things I’ve become hungry for”

2025 WORLD AQUATICS SWIMMING WORLD CUP – Toronto

At the conclusion of the World Cup, SCM savant Gretchen Walsh came away with a 2nd place overall finish, getting narrowly beaten in the standings by her Virginia teammate, Kate Douglass. After a hard block of fall training, Walsh had been unsure where she would be at the start of the circuit and did have some promising results, including a world record in the 50 fly. But by the end, Walsh had a lot of goals that she is excited to chase for the rest of this year.
